BlackBerry Z3 Headed to South Africa after Indonesia launch in April

By February 25, 2014BB10

In a Q&A session with GadgetZA during Mobile World Congress. BlackBerry CEO John Chen made mention that he intends to bring the Z3 entry level device to other markets. In particular, it seems that the Z3 will target many of BlackBerry’s strong hold markets with a cascading launch that will begin in Indonesia and then South Africa.
While the announcement and press release suggest that Indonesia is the Z3’s target market, the device is expected to launch in South Africa shortly after its April release.
This is according to a tweet from Arthur Goldstuck, head of South African research firm World Wide Worx. Goldstuck is currently attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and was quoting BlackBerry CEO, John Chen.
